Structured Risk and Process Coaching

Risk Alternatives provides a series of 12 monthly coaching sessions focused on operations, IT, finances, talent management, reputation management, development, sales, nonprofit risk management processes, compliance, planning and visioning, financial management, contingency planning, risk management, and governance.

 

At each session, your ED, CEO, or COO will engage in a thorough discussion of one of these topics and come away with new nonprofit resources, approaches, and perspectives about how to maximize performance. You gain the following benefits:

One-on-one advice about your nonprofit organization’s issues. Every nonprofit is different. These sessions focus on what’s most important to you.

Confidential feedback. You gain the ear of a trusted advisor who can help you think through your nonprofit challenges and perform nonprofit risk assessment in a non-threatening discussion.

Quarterly check-ins. Risk Alternatives emphasizes feedback loops as part of the learning process. As a result, in addition to the 12 monthly sessions, we engage in four quarterly reviews at which we work with you to determine what’s working and what needs improvement — on your end and ours.

Summary memorandum. At the conclusion of the year of coaching, Risk Alternatives provides a detailed memorandum noting the issues discussed and additional resources available for further exploration.
